Collezione 2024

Created in collaboration with a number of famous international designers, Désirée’s 2024 collection defines contemporary living with timeless essential shapes and durable materials that enhance a taste for detail.
This year, the collection expands offering an authentic sensory journey that celebrates craftsmanship and sustainability.

DORVAN
[ Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez ]

Dorvan is a modular sofa with a vintage flair inspired by the Sixties. It consists of a modular, tubular structure into which the feet, the connecting elements and the back, seat and arm padding slot into place. Designed to create straight, corner or island arrangements, the sofa can be covered with any type of fabric or leather.

MELVIL
[ Marc Sadler ]

The Melvil sofa stands out for its impressive, square and slightly convex-shaped padded elements and is inspired by geometric rigour and functional, Bauhaus beauty. The seat features deep-buttoned “capitonné” effect upholstery and decorative stitching that defines its contours. The collection consists in mobile backrests in various shapes, either straight or angled, that can stand alone or be paired with a corner structure in chromed metal.

ETHÌA
[ Jai Jalan ]

The modular Ethìa sofa characterised by organic, curvy forms, is composed of slightly rounded, padded elements in various sizes which can be put together to create islands or chaise longues. The backrests with their quilted-effect stitching are attached to the padded base by means of visible, bronze-finish, metal fixings.

IMAE
[ Setsu & Shinobu Ito ]

Imae coffee tables have a cylindrical base and a circular, projecting top that give rise to a geometrical and minimalist piece of furniture. The structure of the base is made of metal and MDF lacquered with a burnished metal effect while the top - available in two sizes - can be in white Carrara, black Marquina or grey Silver Roots marble.

GRADÉ
[ Setsu & Shinobu Ito ]

The name of the Gradé collection of rugs is inspired by the colour vibrations of pure New Zealand wool that range from pearl grey to anthracite. Made using the hand tufting technique that consists in inserting tufts of yarn into a canvas base, the texture of these rugs can be either curly or velvety.

GOA
[ R&S désirée ]

The Goa rug is handmade using the Soumak technique and consists of a pile in 100% hemp achieved by wrapping weft threads over and under warp threads, and a stitched edge. The irregular weave and the uneven colour, available in shades of rope, sage-green or bark brown, give the rug its natural look.

DORVAN outdoor
[ Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez ]

In keeping with its soft, rounded lines, we have also developed an outdoor version of the Dorvan sofa. Suitable for covered or partially-covered outdoor spaces, it features a powder-painted, galvanised steel tubular structure with eco-down filled upholstery and back cushions, enclosed  in a water-repellent, polyester cover. The completely-removable cover is available in singlecoloured or two-tone fabric.

Dorvan’s soft, rounded lines also distinguish the collection of coffee tables that go by the same name: available in three sizes, they are suitable for both indoor and covered, outdoor spaces. The curved base is in natural or coal-grey stained iroko solid wood while the top is available in three matt marble versions: white Carrara, black Marquina or grey Silver Roots.
