The new collection of sofas and rugs by MARC SADLER is named HANEDA, epitomising a design philosophy that considers the living room a place for pure relaxation. HANEDA is a ‘sofa-non-sofa’, a destructured system of mobile seats and backrests; there is also a selection of two-colour, fringed rugs in natural shades or blue and dark brown, made of New Zealand pure wool.
The MATTEO THUN & ANTONIO RODRIGUEZ Studio has been working with Désirée for the past two years and has now produced the ARLON collection, comprising modular sofas and sideboards. Previewing at the 2018 Salone is a series of elegant, airy sofas with suspended seats, and refined sideboards in stained elm wood, Creta leather and lacquered wood.
SHELLON, an island sofa, is a signature item by the Japanese duo SETSU & SHINOBU ITO. Its soft, delicate shape recalls the mood of the Shellon bed, previously created for Désirée by the same designers. Then there is the elegant KARIN armchair that features a seat in a wooden frame that conveys warmth and airiness, and nature-inspired STUM metal occasional tables, whose cylindrical shape recalls a tree stump, with marble or wooden tops.
The 500 square metre display area for Désirée will also include the IMAGE bookcase, designed by ROBERTO GOBBO for Euromobil cucine. This is an open system comprising an ultra slim metal structure and shelves in the same material.
Essential, refined and elegant. These adjectives describe all Désirée decors, designed to create unique, distinctive areas that are both customised and sophisticated: compositions that make their mark.
