The new 2022 items by Désirée confirm our long-standing cooperation with renowned designers such as Matteo Thun, Antonio Rodriguez, Marc Sadler, Setsu & Shinobu Ito, and Jai Jalan.
These relationships are consolidated and refreshed with new items to complete the brand’s propositions for bedrooms and living areas. The new products are meticulously designed with a careful eye on the quality of the materials used.
The Rito collection, which began with the iconic easy chair designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, now includes a sofa. Sofas have become a central ‘space’ in the home, a place for the family to spend time together or friends to meet for a chat, but also a private area in which to work, read or rest.
Rito has a lightweight, metal rod structure with clean-cut lines that contrasts with and accommodates the soft, generously-sized cushions that give this model an elegant, cosy designer look.
The comfortable deep seat, lumbar cushions, chaise longue and the option of a coffee table make the Rito sofa an oasis of wellbeing that makes a statement when placed in the centre of a room.
The Rito armchair, launched in 2020, immediately earned recognition, both in Italy with the Archiproducts Design Award 2020 and publication in the 2021 ADI Design Index, category ‘Design for Living’, and internationally with the recent assignment of the 2021 Good Design Award.
Just one word describes the Rito desk: lightness. The metal structure traces geometric shapes that are asymmetrical but well balanced and supports a top and storage unit in valuable materials such as wood and leather. The storage unit comprises an open compartment in bronze-finish metal covered in full-grain aniline leather, and a drawer in dark brown stained Canaletto walnut with a leather covered front.
Elies features soft sinuous shapes and curved encircling lines. Distinguished by the union of two or more modules with large seats and a self-supporting backrest, Elies is an organic, easy to live with sofa, extremely modular, with an ability to be re-composed when required.

Elies in a bigger version comprising 4 x 45° elements, comes with elegant green velvet covers.
The floating seating in different organic forms is the result of investigating several combinations for different composition opportunities. The innovative, extremely supple backrest that takes on different sinuous shapes is feather filled with a polyurethane insert.
The oriental flavour of Karin, designed by Setsu & Shinobu Ito, is evident in the shape of the sofa, easy chair and coffee table that make up the collection. The lines are clean-cut but not geometric, and the gentle crafting of the natural or coffee stained ashwood, together with a backrest featuring a special plaited natural hide cord trim make this project particularly elegant and refined.
The Karin easy chair is distinguished by proportions designed to achieve deep, ergonomic seating. The low backrest comprises a single curved piece of natural ashwood that extends into the armrest, creating a harmonious effect.
With this expansion of its range, Désirée proposes a bed that epitomises aesthetics and comfort, design and quality. The project is based on the movement of the headboard, which can be inclined to several positions using exclusive internal mechanisms.
The bed shares the same philosophy as the Hab sofa, combining great aesthetics, comfort and relaxation. The wood and metal structure is padded with differentiated density polyurethane foam, covered with cotton cloth.
Like all Désirée items, the Hab bed comes with removable leather or fabric covers in a wide range of colours.
