Collection 2018

A sofa with a light and elegant appeal and soft seats that look as if they are suspended in mid-air

Arlon sofas in this new collection are airy, elegant and soft. The collection by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez is the result of in-depth studies into materials, technologies, the market and customers.

Haneda, the sofa-non-sofa reminiscent of japanese tatami and its tufted rugs

Marc Sadler’s awesome signature collection for Désirée conjured up the Orient at the recent Salone del Mobile. Haneda is a ‘sofa-non-sofa’, that is to say a de-structured system of seating with mobile backrests, an idea that recalls tatami and allows people to sit freely, naturally and comfortably at all times. The Haneda collection also includes a series of fringed rugs in two colours – natural and cord or blue and dark brown – in pure New Zealand wool.

The Lotus flower

Shellon, the evocative sofa designed by Setsu & Shinobu Ito, was inspired by the delicacy and structure of the Lotus flower, which in the East symbolises purity of body and soul; it encapsulates the idea of an elegant, open element to fit freely into surrounding nature. It expresses the concept of comfort, relaxation and a living cocoon.

Karin armchair is distinguished by elegant shape, the result of sartorial perfection, outstanding materials and colour schemes that will adapt to many different ambiences.

Once again, nature inspires the philosophy behind Stum project: the idea here is of a tree stump with a metal, cylindrical geometric shape and a marble or wooden top.
